Continuing Legal Education
Finding convenient and affordable Continuing Legal Education in New York is a challenge!
As part of Update’s ongoing commitment to provide excellent benefits to our temporary attorneys, we are now offering Non-Transitional** Continuing Legal Education classes. We offer one class each month with varying credit amounts available.
To make the programs convenient for everyone, the classes are run in the evening (after normal working hours). Update Legal provides the program, materials, and at the conclusion of the program, the certificate of course completion. Please click on this link to view our CLE calendar [click here].

**§1500.11 New York Court Rules and Regulations
Requires Mandatory Transitional Continuing Legal Education for Newly Admitted Attorneys. Newly Admitted Attorneys must complete Transitional Continuing Legal Education within two (2) years of the date of admission to the Bar. Transitional Course are specifically designed to help recent graduates and newly admitted attorneys gain certain competencies and skills. Each newly admitted attorney must complete a minimum of 32 transitional credit hours within two years of the date of admission to the Bar.
The credits offered by Update Legal are NOT transitional credits and therefore, may not be taken by newly admitted attorneys.
